Bussing Policies

 

Each year the Cultural Committee sponsors a Centralized Concert series at Vanier Hall and "The Show" at the Civic Centre. With this series, the Committee provides funding for two buses during the year for your school.

 

Schools do not need to do anything in order to secure the subsidy for bussing. We have worked out a system by which accounting and the Financial Officer does this automatically after the District has been billed by Diversified, and you have been billed by the District. It becomes an ‘in-out’ item.

 

Schools that are located too far from Vanier Hall to particpate in the Centralized Concert series may apply their bus subsidy to their school performances. This subsidy will be in the same amount as the subsidy applied to performances, which is to a maximum of $300.
